Exploring World 3-1 in Super Mario Bros.

In Super Mario Bros., World 3-1 is a challenging level that requires precision and skill to navigate. One of the most distinctive features of this level is its map, which replaces Magic Mushrooms with Fire Flowers if Mario is already Super Mario.

To complete the level, players must collect all the coins hidden throughout the stage. This includes finding Red Coins in open air on platforms, as well as in hidden blocks and other hard-to-reach areas. The player also has to be careful not to get hit by Koopa Paratroopas and Little Goombas that may fall onto them.

One of the most iconic moments in World 3-1 is when the platform falls after crossing the Koopa Paratroopa, allowing players to reach a Red Coin. Another challenging section is the lower path after the falling lift, where players must navigate through platforms with Koopa Troopas and ? Blocks containing power-ups.

Deluxe players can collect five Red Coins, find a hidden Yoshi Egg, and earn a medal based on their score. To do this, they need to beat the score of 23000 (21000 in the Japanese version).

The level also features several platforms with Koopa Troopas followed by horizontally moving lifts and scales that help players reach the top of the flagpole. After the scale, there are three more horizontally moving lifts, followed by more platforms and a Koopa Paratroopa.

In addition to these challenges, World 3-1 requires players to be careful not to fall off the edges of the platforms or get hit by enemies. With practice and patience, however, players can conquer this level and move on to the next challenge in Super Mario Bros.
